Imagine it now: It's 1941. The Battle of Britain is raging. You and your family are in the midst of 114 days of intense aerial combat. German bombs fall across the countryside along with the flaming wreckage of fighter planes careening to their doom, destroying the world below bit by bit. The scent of smoke and death is mingled into the very clouds.
You and the lads know that your country is in grave peril. You've just become eligible to join the Royal Air Force and want to immediately be put into service. You rush down to the nearest RAF office to join the fight.
The lieutenant that meets you gives you a quick once over, as if sizing you up.
"Sorry, chaps," he tells you and your friends, "We aren't accepting white pilots right now. But please do tell your black and brown friends that His Majesty needs their service!"
Enter the modern RAF:
It boggles the mind.
Are we to presume that the qualifications and skills for flying warplanes is somehow equally distributed in the population along the rigid lines of melanin content and sex chromosomes?
What type of utter lunacy does it take to think that you should make sure your fighting force looks like this:
Instead of choosing the BEST DANG WARFIGHTERS no matter what they look like?
The RAF has effectively paused making job offers to white male recruits in favour of women and ethnic minorities to meet "impossible" diversity targets, defence sources have claimed.
The alleged move has prompted the head of recruitment for the Royal Air Force (RAF) - herself a senior female officer - to resign in recent days in protest amid concerns that any such restrictions on hiring, however temporary and limited, could undermine the fighting strength of the service, the sources said.
Britain is practically BEGGING not to exist in a decade or two with this nonsense.
The defence sources accused Air Chief Marshal Sir Mike Wigston, the head of the RAF, of appearing willing to compromise UK security at a time of growing threats from Russia and China in pursuit of albeit important goals such as improving diversity and inclusion.

One of the defence sources noted how General Sir Patrick Sanders, the head of the army, has likened today's security challenges to those in the build-up to the Second World War, warning that the UK is facing its "1937 moment".
"Then you look at the head of the RAF and he's prepared to break the operational requirement of the air force just to meet diversity [targets]," the source said.
Like I said in the title, the modern RAF would have lost WWII for Britain. Neville Chamberlain might have had all the capitulation of our modern woke leaders, but at least he had the sense to begin ramping up production of warplanes and pilots in the '30s.
Of course, the RAF denies its wokeness by saying "HOW DARE YOU" without actually answering the allegations of racism:
"There is no pause in Royal Air Force recruitment and no new policy with regards to meeting in-year recruitment requirements. As with the Royal Navy and British Army, we are doing everything we can to encourage recruiting from under-represented groups and ensure we have a diverse workforce.
Translation: We are doing this but you weren't supposed to notice.
