British woman escorted off airplane by police after not being able to pay for Pringles

Once you pop, the fun don't stop.

Though, apparently not for this lady, who Ryanair called the police on for not being able to pay for her Pringles.

No joke, 55-year-old Ann-Marie Murray and her man were on their way back to the UK from the Canary Islands in late March when the couple got a special sort of ride back to the terminal.

They really got a police escort off the plane for "being disruptive" by not being able to pay for a bottled water, a Coke, and a can of Pringles!

Murray tried to run her card to pay, but it wouldn't go through.

I will say this: Ryanair does happen to be an ultra-discount airline, so they need to scrape in pennies wherever they can, but boy, oh boy, is it petty to get police involved over $9 worth of snacks and drinks.

To be fair, Ryanair tells us that Ann-Marie snatched the Pringles from the cart herself before asking for them, and then popped 'em open. She shouldn't have done that, but it's probably not her fault the airline doesn't have a great credit card system. The passengers in front of Murray told her the same thing happened to them on a previous Ryanair flight, though they fortunately hadn't popped open their snacks yet.

So if you or anyone you know is planning on taking a flight with Ryanair, just make sure you bring cash along so you don't end up like Ann-Marie Murray, and be escorted off the plane by police for a can of Pringles.
