The elites keep telling us little people that we should be grateful for their beneficence and stop worrying about little things like $6 dollars a gallon. After all, as Stephen Colbert said, we wouldn't need to worry about such things if we'd just buy a $100,000 Tesla like him!
Well, I hope we're ready to crank up the coal-fired plants powering those "green" charging stations, because otherwise this awaits in our elites' vision of utopia:
At least while you're waiting, you can think about how much better you are than those truckers and mini-van moms in their gas-powered vehicles, what with your batteries produced by strip mining the third world using child labor!
