Now, I'm not a huge "girl power" guy. Not a feminist by any means. And I sure wouldn't say something on SNL was funny unless it was.

But this is a genuinely great segment from a comedy show that rarely has good humor anymore.

Women's college basketball phenom Caitlin Clark went on Saturday Night Live's weekend update for a friendly battle of the wits against comedian Michael Che, and we're all better off for it.

As the kids say, Caitlin "cooked" here.

That final line ...

You don't have a girlfriend, Michael.

Is delivered so expertly. Perfect comedic timing.

Is there a more likable person in all of sports than Caitlin Clark?
