Don't you hate when family comes to visit and overstays their welcome?
I guarantee you don't hate those dead-beat freeloaders as much as Mei Huang Wolfe, the 48-year-old wife of Harris County Justice of the Peace Bob Wolfe, does.
When her 40-year-old nephew James Wolfe II decided to move in and not move on, Mei sent him on his way with a bullet.
The police said,
The ongoing issues between the two concluded this evening after the suspect retrieved a weapon and pointed it at the complainant and fired one shot striking him in the upper torso. Her husband had attempted to stop her and to get the gun away from her but was unsuccessful.
Officers responded to the scene when the judge called 911, and medics tried to revive the man, but his visit had come to an end.
The sheriff explained that the feud was an ongoing issue over the nephew staying too long.
"It may have been a situation where the female homeowner felt that he wasn't welcome anymore and a disturbance broke out over that," the sheriff said. "She retrieved a pistol and something happened during the altercation and she fired a shot, striking the nephew."
Guess all the pastors out there have another analogy to throw into the mix when teaching on Proverbs 25:17
Let your foot be seldom in your neighbor's house, lest he have his fill of you and hate you.
