Meet California State Senator Susan Eggman.

Eggman, along with many of her Democratic colleagues, are supporting Senate Bill 1414, a bill that would make soliciting underage prostitutes in California a "felony punishable by two to four years in prison, a $25,000, and registration as a sex offender."

(California state law, as it stands now, only punishes this crime with a misdemeanor.)

Sadly, it looks like a small minority of California Senate Democrats want to keep it that way.

But after the Public Safety Committee, controlled by [Democratic State Senator Scott] Wiener's rebels, was finished with it, it was so watered down Grove wanted to take her name off it…

Instead of a felony, the crime would be a 'wobbler', meaning the court can decide whether to charge the accused with a felony or misdemeanor.

The need to know or reasonably know the sex worker was underage was reinstated and first-time offenders would not always have to register as sex offenders.

The most controversial change was to make the bill essentially not apply when the victim was 16 or 17, leaving the crime a misdemeanor in those cases.

Again, Scott Weiner everyone - an elected official in California.

The ACLU said stopping pedos would have "unintended consequences," such as imprisoning more black and brown people, which is racist, apparently, even if those demographics are the ones purchasing kids for sex.

See, it's more important to not be fake-racist than it is to protect children. But State Senator Susan Eggman just wasn't having that.

So she let everyone in the chamber know it.

I don't want to send more black and brown men to prison. I don't want more people in prison, but I don't want people buying girls. I don't want people buying little girls anymore, and I'm tired of saying it's okay, and that we have to protect the men who do it.

Good for you, Senator Eggman.

As the Democratic Party slips further and further to the left, it's great to see that there are normal Democrats — EVEN IN CALIFORNIA — that will call them on their bullbird.

And for those of you going, it's easy for her to say all of this and then quit the party: She's not quitting the party. Her term is up in less than a year. And that doesn't take ANYTHING away from what she's saying here.

As for SB 1414, well, it did pass unanimously in the Senate, though it remains watered down and pro-pedophile because of the far-Left Democrats in the "Public Safety Committee."
