For normal men, Dr. Gounder is correct. There's not much benefit to shelling out tons of money for testing "after a certain age."
But Biden is not just some random guy who could easily miss or skip screenings. He was the president of the United States of America and commander-in-chief of her armed forces, with full authority and access to her nuclear codes, as well as the head of her vast executive bureaucracy.
As such, he had the absolute best and most thorough medical care on the planet, with heavily-scrutinized medical records that were regularly released to the public for the sake of transparency.
So with all due respect to the CBS spin machine, I don't buy the excuse of "it's totally normal for this simple test to have been skipped."
Everyone, can you pitch in to make sure the government that spent $7 trillion last year has enough for a simple blood test??
