Nope, not satire.
"Lord Ram" is (roughly) the Hindu god of truth, virtue, and manliness.
As of 2021, there were 828,000 Hindus in Canada. In Toronto, they even have Yelp pages for their temples because there are so many!

The event marked the completion of a four-year-long project, made possible through a generous donation by Indo-Canadian business leader Laj Prasher. The idol, fabricated in India, was assembled locally in Canada by skilled craftsmen, reflecting a blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern engineering.
The ceremony drew notable figures from Canadian politics, including Minister of Women and Gender Equality Rechie Valdez, Treasury Board President Shafqat Ali, Minister of International Trade Maninder Sidhu, and Andrew Scheer, interim leader of the Conservative Party in the House of Commons. Each expressed admiration for the spiritual and cultural significance of the occasion.

Scenes like this are popping up all over the Western world.
Where there isn't a mosque, there's a giant monkey god:
Imagine going back a hundred years and telling the average Westerner that their great-great grandchildren would be allowing pagans to erect giant shrines to false gods.
If you're one of those "tolerance and inclusion" people and fancy yourself "progressive," understand that there's nothing new about this story. Your "coexist" bumper sticker is the same nonsense the ancient Israelites did when they fancied themselves "cultured."
Moses warned them:
They provoked his jealousy with different gods;
they enraged him with detestable practices.
They sacrificed to demons, not God,
to gods they had not known,
new gods that had just arrived,
which your ancestors did not fear.
You ignored the Rock who gave you birth;
you forgot the God who gave birth to you.
But the Israelites didn't listen. They went straight back to false gods and were ultimately destroyed as a nation because of it.
Before I turn this into a sermon, I'll leave you with one more Bible passage about what the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob commands 👇
Destroy completely all the places where the nations that you are driving out worship their gods — on the high mountains, on the hills, and under every green tree. Tear down their altars, smash their sacred pillars, burn their Asherah poles, cut down the carved images of their gods, and wipe out their names from every place.
