Cheeto just unveiled a 17-foot statue in honor of "Cheeto dust" because this is something the world needs I guess

Cheeto just unveiled the 17-foot-statue of cheesy fingers in the tiny town of Cheadle in Alberta, Canada.

"Why Cheadle?" you may ask.

I'll let the senior marketing director, Lisa Allie, at PepsiCo Foods Canada, tell you:

Cheetos fans have always known that the delicious, cheesy dust on their fingertips is an unmistakably delicious part of the Cheetos experience, but now it officially has a name: Cheetle.

And so, since Cheetle sounds a lot like Cheadle, well, it just makes sense that this should be the place where the statue makes its world debut... even if there are only 83 residents in the town of Cheadle.

After November 4th, the statue will embark on a nationwide tour.

James Gosteli, president of the Cheadle Community Club said of the auspicious occasion:

Cheadle is proud to be home to the ‘Cheetle Hand Statue.' Where else could the Cheetos brand honour the iconic Cheetle, if not here? While our residents will be the first to see the unique monument, we can't wait for the rest of Canada to see it for themselves!
