Anaheim, California says it "respects" free speech, but if you disagree with city leaders on political policy, they say it's their right, NAY THEIR "DUTY," to call you out and force you out of town:
The event was scheduled to headline sitting members of Congress, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Matt Gaetz of Florida.
The 1st Amendment was not made to protect civilized, agreeable speech that aligns with the vague "values" of a ruling political party. There is also no clause that says speech must be delivered in a kind, calm tone.
Instead, it was written to protect the combative and offensive voices of those the government thinks go against its "values" or that it believes are peddling in disinformation. It exists to protect people and their values from the government and its values [read: unlimited power], not the other way around.
