Clemson quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei blocks his dad on Twitter ... because his dad is his biggest fan
· Nov 8, 2020 · NottheBee.com

Clemson's freshman quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei has been in the spotlight for the past couple weeks, since starter (and future hair model) Trevor Lawrence is out with Covid-19. Lawrence is fine, and while some say he shouldn't be on the field because there are plenty of Head and Shoulders ads to film, he can be seen (with his beautiful hair) roaming the sidelines and pretending to care.

But I digress.

D.J. Uiagalelei. Amazing athlete. Probably going to be the biggest name in college football once Lawrence moves on to the NFL (which is likely next season). The kid can pass, run, block, and probably tackle too, but he'd have to actually throw an interception for us to find out. He's a walking highlight reel.

But why has this top-notch athlete had his dad blocked on Twitter since sophomore year of high school? Because his dad is his biggest fan, and it shows. Dad (or Big Dave) posts a lot of stuff praising his sons' (yes, both sons) amazing football abilities. And D.J., being the fine gentleman that he is, just doesn't want it to go to his head.

Wow. That's a classy move Mr. D.J. Uiagalelei. Everyone should be impressed by this. I know I am. It's also a super-slick excuse for blocking your dad on Twitter. Nice move!

On a side note: Dad, if you're reading this, which you're probably not (thanks), maybe you could go ahead and post it on Twitter and be like, "oh my goodness I'm so proud of my son for writing little articles for Not the Bee and Babylon Bee. He's the greatest son ever." Yeah dad, why don't you go ahead and do that? Thanks.

Oh, here's how you pronounce "Uiagalelei" (oo-ee-ANH-gah-leh-lay), which is Samoan, just in case you want to sound cool in front of your friends (D.J.'s brother is an up-and-coming D-lineman, so you'll probably need this for the next 20 years or so):

Here is a photo of Trevor Lawrence (notice the beautiful hair):
