If you're not from Ohio, you probably didn't know that Cleveland Guardians Manager Terry Francona (nicknamed Tito) rides his scooter to and from work almost every day.
It's honestly really cool. He doesn't do a police escort or anything like that. No, when the game's over, or practice is over, dude just hops on his scooter and heads back to his home a few blocks from the stadium.
If you're lucky enough, and you time it right, you might catch a glimpse of Tito's little bald head scooting around on that bad boy in the downtown area every once in a while.
Check out the wheels:
And look at this, they even have a bobblehead of Tito... riding his scooter.
Are you loving this as much as I am?!?!
🤣🤣🤣
So anyhow, over the weekend, someone stole that legendary scooter right from its tiny little parking spot downtown — and the people of Cleveland just weren't having it.
Now, it's Barstool Sports, so you might think they're exaggerating here much like I might be accused of sometimes.
No.
No, they're not kidding.
They're very serious.
Nobody comes into Cleveland and steals Terry Francona's scooter!
Nobody!!
Seriously, check out the reaction from fans:
Okay, Cleveland. Okay...
Needless to say, these people have an insane devotion to the legend that is Terry Francona (as well as his scooter).
We ride together, we die together, right?
Good news for those wildly devoted fans: The scooter has been recovered!
That's cool and all that the scooter was found, but I'm sure the fans won't rest until they've found out who it was who stole it.
And once they find out, who knows what's gonna happen next.
