Did you guys know that in the '80s and '90s, rich white people were getting away with murder? It's true, I heard it on CNN.
I also heard this from CNN in the wake of OJ Simpson's death:
It's also worth noting because of that unrest, that racial unrest in the 90s, that is why so many people, who may not have been invested in OJ Simpson, were just happy to see that someone who was rich and famous, and black, could get away with what other people did in the system as well, too.
Yes, OJ had been dead for, like, a few hours, and not only was CNN reporting that Simpson got away with murder back in 1994, they were also claiming that black people were happy to see it because of the Rodney King riots and the general civil unrest that had come to shape the early '90s.
Now, there's got to be a few Gerrys at the barber shop who hold this opinion, sure, but you don't go saying this on CNN. And if you do, you probably should get fired.
