SNL's Colin Jost is covering the Olympics for NBC and he's now got an ear infection and a staph infection in his foot

SNL's Colin Jost is covering Olympic surfing events in Tahiti for NBC, which was kinda cool initially. However, dude's having a little trouble out there in the Pacific: First he caught a staph infection in his foot, and now he's also suffering from an ear infection. (First time, Colin?)

Here he is in one of my favorite Olympics segments of all time:

"I'm now on three different medications ... four if you count Pina Coladas ... My new goal is to have as many infections as there are Olympic events."

🤣🤣🤣

Dude just can't catch a break!

Here's how he caught the staph infection in his foot.

Jost explained that he caught his foot on some coral while attempting to catch some waves for himself, he told NBC Sports reporter Mike Tirico on July 27. ‘I did pretty well until the first wave and then I ended up standing on the coral reef,' Jost said. ‘Much like the coral reef safety expert but without coral shoes on, so I got a little scraped up.'

And here are some photos of his foot from his Instagram page:

Then our guy caught an ear infection, which makes at least a little more sense when we're talking about water sports.

I'll leave you with a second segment of his with some more coverage on that foot.

Man, Colin, settle down out there in Tahiti. You're spending more time in the medical tent than the surfers are!
