Political conventions are a rallying point for the troops. This week, filled with all the flowery fervor that can be mustered, the Republicans are energizing and mobilizing their supporters for the campaign ahead.
That means we get a lot of over-the-top commentary on how absolutely amazing Trump and the GOP are.
Don't get me wrong, I love it when speakers bring the absolute ๐ฅ, like Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday night ๐
But the speeches that really mattered came from three Americans who have lost loved ones under the horrific and immoral policies that the Left has pushed on our country.
First, there was Anne Funder, who lost a teenage son to the fentanyl that is openly flowing over our open border.
Then, there was Madeline Brame, a mother whose son was stabbed on the streets of New York. Democrat prosecutor Alvin Bragg dropped or reduced the charges of his 4 attackers, a common policy in cities where politicians are looking to reduce prison sentences of minorities to make their crime numbers look "equitable."
Lastly, there was Michael Morin, a man who prayed that the illegal alien who raped and murdered his sister - a loving mother of 5 who should have been nowhere near a convicted murderer from El Salvador - would find Jesus Christ.
These are the people that Joe Biden and the Democrat media call an existential threat to democracy. These are the "domestic extremists" that the FBI concerns itself with these days.
That says way more than some slick speech from a politician, doesn't it?
