I just found out that all federal workplaces in Canada will now offer free tampons in the men's bathroom, and I had to tell someone.

Wow, let's give it up for Canada, ey? They sure are making some progress here!

Tampons and sanitary napkins are now available in men's bathrooms at the Canadian Parliament under a new policy from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that requires all federally-regulated employers — including airports and military bases — to offer free menstrual products in all washrooms, regardless of the gender noted on the door.

Mr. Trudeau needed those tampons in the men's bathroom at parliament, but he figured why stop there when he can make them available in all federal-regulated workplaces. So he did it, and now when he goes to the airport, the bank, or is invited to speak at the CBC, he's going to feel much more comfortable using the bathroom.

It's really a win-win.

Glad to see Canada is getting ahead in the game of progress.
