Spartacus just never knows when to quit, does he?

If you missed it, Sen. Cory Booker broke the Senate record for a filibuster with a 25-hour-long rant against Trump, which we laughed at and enjoyed very much.

Now he's turning the grift up to Level 11 by turning this experience into a book.

Really!

From the Associated Press:

'Stand' will be published Nov. 11, St. Martin's Press announced Wednesday. In April, the New Jersey Democrat made headlines by delivering the country's longest continuous Senate floor speech — just over 25 hours. The 56-year-old Booker spoke in opposition to numerous Trump administration policies, whether the desire to make Canada part of the United States or cuts to Social Security offices.

'This book is about the virtues vital to our success as a nation and lessons we can draw from generations of Americans who fought for them,' Booker said in a statement.

The "historic" speech accomplished next to nothing except achieving the award for talking the longest. But hey, congrats on being the nation's preeminent windbag!

I would have been happier if Booker was actually filibustering a bill, but that would require Republicans to do their job and write bills.

But, hey, at least Republicans have got jokes.
