Criminal abortion charges filed in Nebraska for the first time in nearly 50 years.

A Nebraska woman has been charged with helping her daughter get an abortion for the first time since Roe v Wade became "settled" legal opinion in 1973.

The Supreme Court's recent overturning of that decision has led to many states enacting or enforcing laws criminalizing the brutal act. Nebraska had a law that limits abortion to pre-20 weeks, but it has never been enforced due to Roe v Wade.

However, now the law is back in effect, and a mother and daughter have been arrested after the mother helped her pregnant daughter obtain abortive pills. The girl's baby was roughly 24 weeks old when she took the pills.

As awful as that is, the story gets worse.

*Sensitive readers take note; this next part is really horrendous. *

When the baby was still-birthed, the mother and daughter burned its body, threw it in a shoebox, and buried it in the woods.

The pair were originally arrested for concealing the death of another person and removing, concealing, or abandoning a body (both misdemeanors); the felony act of abortion was added after the daughter checked her Facebook messages to confirm the date the body had been disposed of.

Officers were able to get a warrant to check the pair's Facebook posts, and that's where they discovered the plan and act of abortion:

"The daughter, meanwhile, 'talks about how she can't wait to get the "thing" out of her body,' a detective wrote in court documents. 'I will finally be able to wear jeans,' she says in one of the messages."

The pair also discussed "burning the evidence afterward."

Of course, the media is largely misrepresenting the facts and focusing on how horrible it is that women can't murder their children with impunity. Interestingly enough, the major outrage is that Facebook handed over the private messages, which revealed the murder plot.

#deletefacebook is currently trending on Twitter because of the company's cooperation with law enforcement.

I would say, "poor Facebook," but they've brought this whole mess to their doorstep by ever trying to placate the woke monster in the first place.

Still, it's hopeful to see murder of the innocent finally meet justice.
