CSPAN host tries to call out Tennessee rep for mispronouncing Kamala's name, immediately regrets that decision

A self-righteous CSPAN host tried to shame the US Congressman from Tennessee, Tim Burchett, because he supposedly mispronounced Kamala's name.

It did not go well for her.

CSPAN: You mispronounce it (Kamala's name). Do you do that on purpose?

Burchett: No ma'am, I don't know how she pronounces it. This is the first time anybody's ever told me that. How did I say it?

CSPAN: You said 'Kuh-mala' and it's 'Kahm -ala.'

Burchett: Kahm-ala, okay. Well, my last name's Burchett and I daresay nobody's ever, Sean Hannity's never, didn't even get my name right when I was on there and I don't pitch a fit. So, it's 'Kahm-ala'?

CSPAN: Mhm.

Burchett: Well, I stand corrected, thank you. And somebody's gonna say you're showing bias toward her by correcting her and not correcting anybody for me, but I see that as you being very kind to me, so I'll take it at that.

He just used that southern charm to quietly embarrass the CSPAN host who was hoping to get a spotlight moment out of the exchange.

Tim, you've made my day.
