The elites are getting busy at the 54th annual invitation-only World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
And I mean, getting busy!
The WEF in Davos isn't just about power, wealth, and control; it also happens to be a hot spot for discreet escort services for elite clientele attending the summit.
Prostitution in Switzerland has been legal since 1942. Up until 2010, the legal age for sex work was 16, and it is now 18.
This means that the world's oldest profession gets a slice of the economic pie generated by the exclusive conference in the Swiss mountain village - where the intersection of business and pleasure takes on a unique twist.
And these services have become "completely booked."
By day, academics, politicians, and business and religious leaders discuss global issues and their "solutions" to those problems.
Those solutions usually impede the common man's freedoms and rights, but clearly, those rules never apply to the elite.
Then, by night, the CEOs and dignitaries mix and mingle over caviar bumps, $1,000 bottles of champagne, and extravagant parties exclusive to the global elite fortunate enough to secure an invitation.
Oh, and lots of prostitutes.
While summit attendees are focused on achieving near-impossible goals related to climate change, net-zero, and censoring speech, the trade done by escort service "Titt4Tat" suggests many have their eyes on something else.
"All local service providers are completely booked during the WEF week," said service owner B. Konrad.
And these escort "services" ain't cheap.
One source indicated that a standard booking "takes between four and twelve hours," with sessions costing approximately 2,000 Swiss francs (~$2,300).
True North reported how dating-style applications have made it easier than ever for elites to find those extracurricular activities during cold Swiss nights.
One available Davos escort going by the handle "austrian_girl" advertised "accompany only" and "hostess" services at a rate of €800 ($1,175 CAD) for every two hours booked.
True NorthOther escorts like "Samantha" don't even advertise a price and instead require clients to book in advance - with the fee being negotiated based on demand.
On average, however, elite clients have to cough up anywhere from €2,000 ($2,937 CAD) to €3,000 ($4,405 CAD) for a 12-hour night with a call girl.
Davos escorts like "Savannah" know their clients well, advertising themselves as providers of "sophistication", "charm and elegance" to those willing to pay steep prices.
Booking the 32-year-old Moldovan mistress for two days - a quarter of the summit's length - would cost €8,000 ($11,747 CAD).

Now that's some high-end prostitution for some high-end and morally corrupt clients!
And it just keeps getting crazier.
Last year, exclusive gatherings and upscale parties provided distinguished guests with more than just over-priced champagne.
As part of the "Medical Psychedelics House of Davos," a psychedelics company even extended the unique offering of micro-doses of magic mushrooms to delegates during the 40 sessions and speaker events.
In 2016, the Swiss army reported that five soldiers assigned to safeguard the World Economic Forum in Davos were sent home after testing positive for cocaine. Additionally, seven others among the group of 12, who were returning from a break, faced disciplinary action for cannabis consumption following suspicions of intoxication.
The WEF is basically an extravagant frat party.
How is this summit still going on and still respected?! How is anyone taking it seriously?
These are the types of people influencing policies across the globe. And that's just plain scary.
