Right before the Georgia runoff, Joe Biden and his Democratic colleagues promised people $2,000 checks if they would vote in Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.
They said such checks would be cut "immediately" and "next week."
Welp, as you can guess, that didn't actually happen. Instead, Biden did a few mathematical calculations and said he was going to only deliver $1,400, adding that to the "down payment" of $600 per person that the Trump administration pushed for a month ago.
