Connecticut Democrat Jahana Hayes certainly made a choice in this week's CNN town hall event.
Watch as the up and coming Democrat states very explicitly that she regrets voting for the Laken Riley Act which allows the DHS to detain illegal aliens for committing various crimes.
The law was named for Laken Riley who was sexually assaulted and brutally murdered by a known criminal illegal alien.
As I've thought about over the last couple of months, I probably would have voted differently. It's a vote that I regret. But coming into this congress I trusted that this administration, we would have some, they wanted to have some border security, if they wanted to work with Democrats we could actually move forward.

It says a lot about the state of the country when an elected representative in one of the two major parties publicly regrets voting for a law that would make it more difficult for illegal aliens to kill Americans.
All because it's perceived as un-empathetic or mean or something.
