Okay, this totally isn't racist or anything.
Democrat Jasmine Crockett recently appeared on CNN to discuss a new poll which not only suggests Trump is winning in swing states, but that he's gaining support from the black community. Her take is a bit outrageous — and racist — as she complains that black people just don't understand how any of this civics stuff works.
No, I'm not joking.
Watch:
Here's the deal: Perception is reality...and when people decide whether they're going to the poll or whether they're not going to the poll, it's all about how you feel in that moment. And so while the facts may not align with their feelings, their feelings are dictating their reality, their reality is that they said they... felt better when Trump was in office...
We've got some very popular African-American artists that are out here saying things like, "Oh I got checks when Trump was in office, I want those checks again," not understanding that that really came from Congress.
So we've got a couple of things: The perception issue, and then we also have an issue as it relates to civics in this country and people not understanding exactly how any of this works.
Yeah, uhh..
Bro, this black-on-black hate speech has got to stop. She's literally just saying that black people don't get it. The nerdy folks call that the "Bigotry of Low Expectations," where you pretend to be supporting a group because they're too darn stupid to figure things out for themselves.
Joe is the master of this tactic:
If blacks vote red in 2024, is the Left gonna be stumping to take voting rights away from these ignorant black voters? I mean, as racist as the Left can be sometimes, this wouldn't surprise me. Anyone who figures out their game becomes a target of their hate.
Some reactions to this clip:
Do better, Dems.
