Democrats Jerry Nadler and Carolyn Maloney refuse to say if they'll support Joe Biden in 2024

One of the most important House Democrats, New York's Jerry Nadler, joined fellow Dems on a panel debate in NYC and refused to say if he supported president Joe Biden running again in 2024.

Here's what Nadler had to say:

Too early to say. Doesn't serve the interest of the Democratic Party to deal with that before midterms.

Jerry Nadler is the definition of a party man. And he truly believes that Biden is so unpopular that it would hurt Democrats in the midterms if they supported the incumbent president.

Biden is SUCH a drag on the Democrats.

Maloney, another top Democrat, said she didn't think Biden would even run in 2024.

From the AP:

Two powerful House Democrats from New York each declined Tuesday to say that President Joe Biden should run for the White House again in 2024.

Reps. Jerry Nadler and Carolyn Maloney, two of the party's establishment liberals who chair powerful committees and are competing for a Manhattan-area House seat, shied away from supporting the president when they were asked in a televised debate whether Biden should seek a second term.

These aren't nobodies. They're New York representatives. They're influential senior Democrats.

They're powerful within the party, and they are totally distancing themself from the current president in a DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY! In NEW YORK!
