Denmark is set to become the first nation to tax farmers for farting livestock
· Jun 26, 2024 · NottheBee.com

As if meat prices weren't high enough, Denmark is going to start taxing farmers for the greenhouse gasses emitted by their livestock starting in 2030.

This is all part of a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions "by 70% from 1990 levels by 2030" — or, put another way, to bankrupt the farmers of Denmark and make meat and dairy unaffordable to the masses.

Denmark will tax livestock farmers for the greenhouse gases emitted by their cows, sheep and pigs from 2030, the first country in the world to do so …

As of 2030, Danish livestock farmers will be taxed 300 kroner ($43) per ton of carbon dioxide equivalent in 2030. The tax will increase to 750 kroner ($108) by 2035. However, because of an income tax deduction of 60%, the actual cost per ton will start at 120 kroner ($17.3) and increase to 300 kroner by 2035.

Bro, they're taxing livestock. Taxing meat and dairy. As if, you know, we weren't already paying ridiculous prices for these things in the first place.

These animals belch and fart quite a lot, and the folks at the AP wanted to remind us that, "livestock account for about 32% of human-caused methane emissions." This is according to the U.N. Environment Program.

Let's quickly do some math on this new hoax tax, using cows as our example, since Denmark has about 1.5 million of them.

A typical Danish cow produces 6 metric tons (6.6 tons) of CO2 equivalent per year.

Let's be "conservative" and use that 300 kroner ($43) number from above, since it appears that will be the tax on farmers come 2035 (if we're willing to believe the AP).

So that's 6 tons per year, times 300 kroner, which comes out to 1,800 kroner per year, or $258, per cow, per year.

Now, let's say you have about 200 cows, as the average Danish dairy farm does.

That's 360,000 kroner, or $51,600 per year!!!

Let's go one step further and count all the cows in Denmark into this equation.

1,484,377 cows at 1,800 kroner per year comes out to 2.7 billion kroner, or $383 MILLION!!

They want $383 million per year with this tax, and that's just for cows.

Are you starting to see what these livestock taxes are going to look like?!?

Your grocery bill won't increase by much, but that's because you just won't buy meat anymore as you'll not be able to afford it. Though I'm sure cricket prices will go down for us.

The global warming hoax is being used to bankrupt farmers and take meat and dairy off the kitchen table.

You've been warned.
