At the Western Conservative Conference this weekend, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis edged out former President Donald Trump as the preferred 2024 GOP presidential candidate.
Poll voters were allowed to pick multiple candidates, which "minimizes spoilers and sabotage and gives viability and visibility to minor candidates," according to Frank Attwood, who runs Approval Voting USA.
Here are the top 10 finishers:
- Ron DeSantis: 74.12%
- Donald Trump: 71.43%
- Ted Cruz: 42.86%
