In an effort to cover up Tim Walz's decision to leave the command of his National Guard unit in order to run for Congress in 2005 while they were fighting in Iraq (then claiming for years that he was a veteran of that conflict and carried weapons in war) Fake News CNN decided to attack Republican VP nominee JD Vance with false allegations.

I also think that JD Vance, as a messenger on this, may also be an imperfect messenger ... you introduced him as a combat correspondent ... but if you dig a little deeper into that he was a public affairs specialist, someone who did not see combat.

I'll let Vance answer these spurious attacks himself.
