This gives me flashbacks to the good old days of Covid.
Judge Perkins: You got some pants on, officer?
Officer Jackson: Sir, they're in the - no, sir.
Judge Perkins: Um, Officer Jackson, um, okay.

Bro showed up to that hearing like Winnie-the-Pooh!
This happened on Monday of all days.
From ABC 7 Detroit:
Detroit police say they are looking into a situation where an officer appeared during a court hearing on Zoom wearing no pants.
In the video, the officer, who identified himself as Matthew Jackson, appeared during the Zoom hearing on Oct. 27 in 36th District Court.
Jackson was wearing his Detroit Police Department uniform shirt, but did not have pants on.
Some very important context incoming...
He did have underwear on.

Glad to hear it!
Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison had to make a statement on this one:
The Detroit Police Department requires its officers to represent themselves in a dignified and professional manner while attending court proceedings. the involved officer's actions are not representative of the professionalism of this department and will be appropriately addressed to maintain the public confidence and efficient operation of this department. Our apologies are hereby extended to the judges and staff of the court, as well as anyone else who may have been in attendance during this incident.
For the record, the judge was "stunned" by the pantless officer, especially since he's known Officer Jackson to be "a very professional police officer" who is always "very courteous to the citizens."
It sounds like Officer Jackson was about to drop an excuse that his pants were in the wash but decided not to use it. Obviously, he should've gotten that camera in place and zoomed before the hearing started and we wouldn't be talking about this.
I needed a good laugh today, so thank you, Officer Jackson!
