Donald Trump celebrates Louisiana law requiring Ten Commandments in classrooms: "THIS MAY BE, IN FACT, THE FIRST MAJOR STEP IN THE REVIVAL OF RELIGION, WHICH IS DESPERATELY NEEDED, IN OUR COUNTRY."

This week, Louisiana successfully moved the Overton Window on acceptable political discourse.

They retook ground for Christians and conservatives by signing into law a requirement that schools display the Ten Commandments. David French hardest hit.

No, my caps lock key didn't get stuck.

This is a direct quote from former president Donald Trump's Truth Social account reacting to Louisiana's new law requiring the Ten Commandments in the classroom.

I LOVE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, PRIVATE SCHOOLS, AND MANY OTHER PLACES, FOR THAT MATTER. READ IT โ€” HOW CAN WE, AS A NATION, GO WRONG???

THIS MAY BE, IN FACT, THE FIRST MAJOR STEP IN THE REVIVAL OF RELIGION, WHICH IS DESPERATELY NEEDED, IN OUR COUNTRY. BRING BACK TTC [The Ten Commandments]!!! MAGA2024

When you've got Donald Trump on your side and David French on the other side, you know you're in a good spot.

Ten years ago, who would have imagined that David French would be the anti-Ten Commandments guy while The Apprentice host would be pro-proclaiming God's Word in all areas of life?

It's a reminder of 2016 when people voted for Donald Trump because he promised that it would be okay to say "Merry Christmas" in public again.

The high and mighty political thinkers may think that praising the Ten Commandments and saying "Merry Christmas" is silly. But all Donald Trump is trying to say is that he wants to take America back to what it used to be.

Make America Great Again.
