The FBI is HOT on the trail of the J6 pipe bomber with this "new" footage

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has been catching a lot of flak in recent years, what with praying grandmothers being hunted down and arrested and seemingly every perpetrator of a mass shooting being "on the FBI's radar" before committing the acts … but have no fear!

With deadly terrorist attacks being carried out to start 2025, the FBI is still hot on the trail of an attempted act of terror from … Jan 6, 2021.

On Thursday, the FBI released "new" video footage of the infamous D.C. pipe bomb suspect placing explosives outside the DNC on Jan 5:

You may think that this investigation has been going on for a long time without any reported leads as to the suspect's identity … and you'd be right. To date, despite viewing approximately 39,000 videos and conducting over 1,000 interviews, the FBI has yet to identify a single person of interest in the crime.

There might be a reason for that!

The individual — wearing a hood and mask — placed what were described by the FBI as "viable" pipe bombs in the vicinities of the RNC and DNC offices in Washington, D.C., the night before the Jan 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol. In addition to wearing distinct footwear — Nike Air Max Speed Turf shoes with yellow logos — the FBI has now, for the FIRST TIME, revealed that the suspect was approximately 5'7" tall, so if you know any little fellahs with sweet kicks who were in D.C. that night, please contact your local FBI field office.

The bureau can't be expected to do all the work, though. They're still asking for tips that could help catch the culprit:

Stay tuned to this riveting and fast-paced investigation, as we're bound to find out sometime in 2029 what brand of hoodie the suspect may have been wearing.
