Jalen Rose never made an Olympic basketball squad, but he sure is lighting it up at the 2022 Woke Olympics.
Best known for his role in the 2020 games where he helped get the Washington Redskins to change their offensive name, Rose is now onto bigger things, like telling his fans to stop using the term "Mount Rushmore" because it "should be offensive to all of us."
Here's a bit of that wokeness for ya:
Can we retire using "Mount Rushmore"? That should be offensive to all of us, especially native Americans — indigenous people — who were the first people here, before Christopher Columbus. That land was stolen from them…25 years later, to add insult to injury, four American presidents were put on what we call Mount Rushmore — on the top of the dead bodies…So I call for you and for myself, let's stop using the term "Mount Rushmore" when we talk about our favorite rappers, talking about our favorite movies, talking about our favorite players.
Got that, folks?
No more Mount Rushmore!
So I get it, if you work at ESPN you got to be woke — I mean you work for Disney, so…
Am I surprised in the slightest to see this garbage from Jalen Rose, the most mediocre of the Fab 5?
No, I'm not.
Am I going to defend Mount Rushmore, which features four of our most influential U.S. presidents?
No. I don't have to.
Those men's legacies speak for themselves.
As for the stolen land argument, well, why don't we just cancel America as a whole, Jalen?
Cuz that's really what you're after.
Needless to say, it won't be long before Jalen Rose is inducted into the Woke Olympics Hall of Fame.
So keep up the good work, J!
