This video might make you shudder a bit. A motorcyclist in California drove up to a broken down car in the middle of a busy highway and offered to help.

As trucks and semis flew past within inches of him, he ran out across several lanes of traffic and tried to wave down the cars so they would slow down.

Thankfully they were able to get the car off the road safely. They even shared an awkward handshake at the end, which is understandable since we are all out of practice with the whole handshake thing.
