Experts predicted the U.S. would add 422k jobs in December but the actual number was just 199k ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Biden's favorability numbers are very, very bad and inflation is gripping the country and there's not a whole lot going right for the White House and they reeaaaallly need some good news right now.

Looks like the jobs report isn't gonna be it:

The U.S. economy recorded an increase of 199,000 jobs in December and the unemployment dipped to 3.9%, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) announced Friday.

Total non-farm payroll employment increased by 199,000 in December, according to the BLS, and the number of unemployed Americans dipped to 6.3 million. Economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal projected the economy to add 422,000 jobs in December and for unemployment to fall to 4.1%.

I got pretty low grades in math, but even I'm capable of using an Internet percentage calculator and figuring out that December's job numbers came in at a dismal 47% of what economists predicted they would.

Seems like this is really becoming a trend!

That's not good, though it's slightly higher than Joe Biden's favorability rating right now, so there's that.

There's also this...

One economist told the Wall Street Journal:

"We just expect this year to bring a more moderate, sustainable pace of recovery and growth."

It's wild how things change: Joe Biden started off his presidency with "Build Back Better" and now the best he can hope for is "a More Moderate, Sustainable Pace of Recovery and Growth."

Good luck, Joe!
