In Fauci's head, everybody is still listening to his edicts and following his advice. And his advice now is to continue to shun the un-jabbed and keep them away during the holidays.
"I think we're dealing with a serious enough situation now, that if there were an unvaccinated person I would say 'sorry, not this year, maybe another time when this is all over'."

I feel sorry for anyone out there who had plans for the holidays and then heard this from Dr. Fauci and sent people home.
I know that's probably a very very small number of people, and anyone who would take Fauci's advice on holiday gatherings is probably someone you wouldn't want to hang out with anyways. But the idea that this man is out there trying to prevent people from seeing their loved ones until "it's all over" is insane.
And, spoiler alert, it's never going to be "all over" until we ignore the Fauci's out there and live our lives.
