Federal judge strikes down Biden's $430 billion student loan forgiveness program as unconstitutional

Here's some good news for you people.

A federal judge in Texas has struck down President Biden's $430 billion student-loan forgiveness program, calling it unconstitutional.

District Judge Mark Pittman, an appointee of former Donald Trump in Fort Worth, ruled in a lawsuit backed by the Job Creators Network Foundation on behalf of two borrowers.

Pittman in a 26-page ruling wrote that the HEROES Act - a law that provides loan assistance to military personnel and that was relied upon by the Biden administration to enact the relief plan - did not authorize the $400 billion student loan forgiveness program.

"The Program is thus an unconstitutional exercise of Congress's legislative power and must be vacated," Pittman wrote.

Oh, I can see the snowflakes right now melting into their mom's basement sofa!

How dare you take away MY MONEY!!!!

Okay, here's the deets on the ruling:

This case will likely make its way to the Supreme Court eventually.

And because the president isn't allowed to simply bypass Congress and hand out $430 billion dollars to whomever he sees fit, I assume it will be struck down as soon as it arrives there.

But we shall see.

In the meantime, I guess I'll go ahead and postpone that vacation I had planned...
