The king of the flip-flops is back!

Robert Francis O'Rourke, affectionately known as "Beto," is back on the stump and calling for you law-abiding citizens to turn in your guns.

I just took the position that may not be politically popular, may be too honest, that not only should no one be able to purchase an AR-15 or an AK-47, because they're designed to kill humans and their high-impact, high-velocity rounds will just tear up everything inside. You'll bleed out before we can even get you back to life.

But I don't think that the people who have them right now in civilian use should be able to keep them.

Not only is Beto calling for a ban on sales of these particular guns, but he also believes that if you already own them, you shouldn't be able to keep them.

Yeah, good luck Beto!

We're all looking forward to the police officers in Texas going door-to-door asking people to turn in their rifles.

I'm sure that'll go over super well.

Just as a reminder, Beto has gone back and forth on this issue multiple times.

First, in 2019, Beto said "Hell yes, we're going to take your AR-15!" during a presidential debate.

Then earlier this year, he walked it back because he's running in Texas.

And now that are more fresh graves for him to campaign on in Texas, he's back to his old gun-grabbing ways.
