On Tuesday, DeSantis made good on his promise to not comply with Biden's new Title IX rules.

The governor announced that Florida is suing the Biden Administration and the Department of Education over the new rules that would force men into women's spaces and mandate the trans agenda in schools.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody filed a lawsuit Tuesday to block the Biden administration's rules creating new anti-discrimination protections for transgender and nonbinary students. The rules, expected to take effect in August, apply to a federal education policy called Title IX that's intended to guarantee women's equality in schools and colleges.

The 84-page lawsuit argues that the 1970s law in question was only intended to apply to binary sex and charges that rulemaking stating otherwise is illegal. The Biden administration has been working on an overhaul of Trump-era rules interpreting Title IX since 2022.

Yeah, so Florida is making the very obvious case that transgenderism really wasn't a thing when they wrote Title IX. And the protections in Title IX that apply to women were written, believe it or not, TO PROTECT WOMEN. Not men dressed as women.

It was a totally different world when Title IX was written. M.A.S.H. was on air and Corporal Klinger dressed as a chick to get out of the Army. In today's world, Title IX would be used to make sure Corporal Klinger became General Klinger.

But the Biden admin doesn't think men dressed as women should be told they aren't women. And they're tying federal funds to enforce their view. Hence the lawsuit.

Moody filed the lawsuit alongside other Republican attorneys general from Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina, as well as conservative organizations Independent Women's Law Center, the Independent Women's Network, Parents Defending Education and Speech First Inc. Other states filed a separate lawsuit. Moody said in a statement that the rules "shred protections for women" and accused federal officials of failing to think through "real-world consequences."

Yeah, I think the federal officials did actually think this one through. It seems like it's part of their destructive plan.

You won't get them to change their minds, but you can take them to court!
