Toilet explosion in a fast-food bathroom ... I mean, we've all been there, amirite?

Well, we may not have had it as bad at this guy ...

Paul Kerouac has filed a negligence lawsuit against Dunkin' after he went into the bathroom at a Winter Park, Florida, location and ended up covered in, well, you know.

A toilet literally EXPLODED.

Following the explosion of the toilet plaintiff emerged from the men's room and sought assistance from employees and managers of [the] defendant's business to clean himself, as he remained covered with human feces and urine after emerging from the men's room.

Kerouac came out of the men's room looking for help from the Dunkin' employees, and one of them told him, well ... yeah, they already knew there was a "problem with the toilet" because there had apparently been a previous incident.

Kerouac is now seeking more than $100,000, claiming he suffered "severe and long term injuries."

Kerouac claims that the messy incident resulted in him enduring "bodily injury and psychological damages," along with "permanent and significant emotional injury, mental anguish, loss of the capacity for the enjoyment of life, expense of medical care and treatment."

As a direct result of Defendant's breach and/or multiple breaches of its duties and obligations to Plaintiff, who was lawfully on Defendant's premises, Plaintiff unwittingly became the victim of the exploding toilet and of the aftermath which followed, and sustained damages, including injuries and emotional and mental distress.

This dude has apparently needed mental health care and counseling since the January 2022 blast.

Yeah, man. I wouldn't be able to get over it too easily, either.
