Kentucky's capital city, Frankfort, sits on the Kentucky river, and over the past week the area experienced historic flooding due to a severe storm system that ran through the area.
Many people are unable to get back to their homes - staying in hotels in the meantime - and one resident even saw their home taken away in the flood (video below).
Buffalo Trace Distillery is underwater and won't be open until at least tomorrow.
From Fox Weather:
Kentucky is reeling after days of relentless severe storms brought an unprecedented deluge and triggered widespread flooding that has ravaged communities across the state.
The FOX Forecast Center said it's all part of a larger weather system that has dumped historic amounts of rainfall from Kansas to Pennsylvania. The National Weather Service has issued a staggering 847 flood reports across 16 states in recent days, with over 1,100 flash flood reports recorded nationwide this year - a figure typically not reached until June.
Western parts of Kentucky have seen even more rain, some places exceeding 15 inches, according to the report.
Citizens continue to ride out the flooding, though this one looks like its impacts will be completely devastating once the water levels drop and people can get back in their homes to see what it looks like.
Here's a bunch of images and footage of the flooding.
