Awkward: Gavin Newsom's parents-in-law donated to a Ron DeSantis PAC through their foundation
· Aug 31, 2022 · NottheBee.com

This story is just so perfect.

California's failing governor, Gavin Newsom, has his heart set on becoming a failing president, so he has recently turned his guns on America's best governor, Ron DeSantis.

But in the battle between DeSantis and Newsom, Golden State Stalin has already lost a major battle to the captain of the Sunshine State.

According to a Fox report, Gavin Newsom's own parents-in-law have donated to his newly declared political rival.

According to contribution records on the Friends of Ron DeSantis PAC website, the Siebel Family Revocable Trust made a $5,000 contribution on April 6, 2022.

That trust is run by Kenneth F. Siebel Jr. and Judith A. Siebel, the parents of Newsom's wife, Jennifer Siebel, records obtained by Fox News Digital show.

I know that some people don't see eye-to-eye with their in-laws, but this news is going to make Thanksgiving 2022 just a little bit awkward.

Although it isn't a huge surprise, apparently.

The Siebel family has a history of supporting right-wing candidates.

Newsom's father-in-law Kenneth Siebel has a long history of making donations to GOP candidates, according to Federal Election Commission filings. His most recent donations include contributions to the campaigns of Republicans Sens. Ron Johnson, Tom Cotton and Josh Hawley.

I guess Gavin's in-laws are dangerous insurrectionists or something, you know because they support Josh Hawley!
