Georgia's Brian Kemp Just Signed A "Parental Bill Of Rights" Along With Bans On Racist Anti-American Teaching And Bans On Obscene Materials In School 💪

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp just made lefty heads explode by signing a slew of bills meant to better education and increase parental rights in the state of Georgia.

Kemp signed a "Parental Bill of Rights" which is a curriculum transparency bill, allowing parents to see what their kids are being taught in school.

The other bills include bans on racist teaching and obscene materials in school.

Lefties are very, very mad that states are letting parents a sneak peek into their classrooms where they want to groom kids into leftist ideologies behind their parents' backs.

Here's how local Georgia news is reporting the story:

Among the measures signed in a ceremony at the Forsyth County Arts and Learning Center was House Bill 1178, known as the "Parents' Bill of Rights."

The bill states parents have the fundamental right to "direct the upbringing and education of their minor children." It also says important information about a child cannot be withheld from their parent, including information related to education.

Kemp said the measure "provides greater transparency to parents and legal guardians regarding what their student is being taught in school and protects the fundamental right of moms and dads across this state to direct the education of their child."

It says something about society today that you have to be "radical" to allow parents to know what their children are being taught.

What are they trying to hide?

Addressing the fact that some of the measures have stirred controversy, Kemp said at the ceremony:

"Standing up for the God-given potential of each and every child in our schools and protecting the teaching of freedom, liberty, opportunity, and the American dream in the classroom should not be controversial. Making sure parents have the ultimate say in their child's education should not be controversial."

Newsflash: Parents have the right to educate their children as they see fit.

Sorry if that offends your lefty sensibilities.

Kemp also signed:

  • - House Bill 1084: This bill, bans "divisive concepts and ideologies" from being discussed in class. The bill defines "divisive concepts" as a number of different things. Definitions include the following: "one race is inherently superior to another race," "the United States of America is fundamentally racist," among other definitions. The bill also states that school boards, superintendents and charter school governing bodies "shall prohibit employees from discriminating against students and other employees based on race."
  • - Senate Bill 226: Kemp's office said this bill allows for obscene materials to be removed from school libraries. The bill also requires school boards to have a policy in place to have a "complaint resolution process" to be used by a school system to address complaints from parents and guardians.

It's House Bill 1084 that is drawing the most criticism, of course.

If a state bans teaching that "one race is inherently superior to another race" or that "America is fundamentally racist" lefties will cry out in despair.

From the totally not biased CNN:

Among the bills signed on Thursday was HB 1084, known as the "Protect Students First Act." The law defines "divisive concepts" as, among others, those that teach "the United States of America is fundamentally racist; an individual, by virtue of his or her race, is inherently or consciously racist or oppressive toward individuals of other races," and "an individual, solely by virtue of his or her race, bears individual responsibility for actions committed in the past by other individuals of the same race."

The law is part of a broader movement by conservative lawmakers across the country to limit how race is taught and discussed in schools, with proponents of such measures arguing that the bans are about making sure parents have an ultimate say in their child's education.

Critics on Thursday blasted Kemp, with the ACLU of Georgia saying parents in the state want their children to be taught accurate curricula.

"Whether you are white, Black, Hispanic or Asian— most parents want their children to learn about history the way they learn about math— as accurately as possible" Andrea Young, the group's executive director, said in a statement.

Considering the radical race Marxists are using CRT in math, I doubt the sincerity of wanting to teach issues "as accurately as possible."

Any push by the right against politically-driven education is seen as an assault on the left.

The left has been putting wokeness in the school curriculum for years, and the right has finally woken up to this and started to fight back.
