Hello, faithful Not the Bee readers! We've had an enormously successful launch and have been blown away by the traffic numbers we've seen throughout our first month. Now it's time for those of you that don't know about Not the Bee's social platform to login, get engaged, and win some real-world prizes* (full list shown at the end of this article).

For those of you that don't know, Not the Bee is much more than just a news site that produces hilarious, timely, hard-hitting and/or hard-to-believe articles. There's an entire social platform under the hood that lets you connect with other like-minded users, chat about life, share pictures of your dog, join groups about apologetics, prayer groups, music, locksmithing (seriously), or even pitch forum headline ideas that will continue to go unseen by the Babylon Bee staff. That's great, but what about those cash prizes?

From now until the end of October, we are giving every Not the Bee Social user a chance to reach 10,000 community points and become eligible for our awesome pool of real-world prizes. Those active users who reach the 10k point by the end of October will automatically be entered into a raffle, with the first place prize being a $1,000 Amazon gift card. We will also be giving out Babylon Bee, Disrn and Not the Bee merchandise, on top of other special gifts to be announced at a later date.

How hard is it to reach 10k community points?

Let's just put it this way: our site's only been live for about a month, and we already have several members that have over 1 MILLION points. You get community points for every like, comment, and post that you make, and even more points when somebody else likes and comments on your content. It will take almost no time at all for you to reach the milestone, so don't sweat it.

You can post your own thoughts and comments, like content, share funny videos, memes and gifs, or post a cute pic of the family. Our social network is grounded in a principal of love and respect, so we are constantly monitoring the site for any spammy, derogatory or mean behavior, and warning those users that might be misusing the platform. We've found that our users are incredibly gracious, loving and positive. It's a great community to be a part of, and we can't wait until you join and start interacting.

How to get started:

If you're not yet a member, it's time to sign up. But if you want even more value, go ahead and head on over to Babylon Bee or Disrn to sign up using our limited time promotion. For this week only, you will receive FREE lifetime access to Not the Bee when you sign up through one of our sister sites and maintain a subscription. This offer ends at the end of this week, so after October 9th you will have to sign up for a separate subscription to Not the Bee in order to enjoy the social features.

*Disclaimer: The raffle will be governed by rules that will be posted in our terms of service, but the basic things to know are that you have to be 18 to be eligible for any prizes.
