Getting married isn't cheap and thanks to spiraling inflation, American couples are spending more than ever on their big day. The problem isn't unique to the U.S., with wedding costs surging all over the world — and in one market, McDonald's is stepping in to help.

The fast food giant's Indonesian arm is offering a new "Wedding Mekdi" package to couples getting hitched in Jakarta, the country's capital.

Okay... so the trip to Indonesia probably isn't cheap.

But just try to find a $230 wedding venue in the US. You can't do it. Even with $1,100 round-trip plane tickets for you, your beloved, and some family, I'd bet you'd still save money.

Guests can enjoy their McNuptials in McStyle while snacking on a McChicken and live McHappily Ever After.

Talk about a McDream come true!

For a wedding with 100 attendees, the package works out at just over $2 a head — or around 97% less than the average couple marrying in America paid for catering last year.

The wedding might have to take place in Jakarta, but I still can't imagine a more American setting than under the golden arches.

You will, however, have to do the vows elsewhere. Apparently, McDonald's is only offering the venue as a reception space. And you have to purchase at least 200 items, so make sure to invite all your friends!
