Google goes full Inquisition, says any content that questions "consensus" on "climate change" will be barred from making money
· Oct 8, 2021 · NottheBee.com

The theory of anthropogenic climate change is apparently so settled and so inarguable that Google is now promising to disable your ability to earn money on its network if you go against the climate grain:

Google said it will no longer display advertisements on YouTube videos and other content that promote inaccurate claims about climate change.

The decision, by the company's ads team, means that it will no longer permit websites or YouTube creators to earn advertising money via Google for content that "contradicts well-established scientific consensus around the existence and causes of climate change." And it will not allow ads that promote such views from appearing.

Live look at Google headquarters:

For real, though: Right now the monetization ban is merely on content that disputes the "existence and causes" of "climate change." In very short order it will almost certainly expand to include content that even modestly questions the most dire and apocalyptic predictions of the climate "consensus."

Eventually—not too far in the future—they will almost surely progress to just straight-up banning the content instead of merely demonetizing it.

There's no need anymore to imagine a world of mass, unrestrained censorship from a small cabal of tech oligarchs. It's happening already!
