This is so sad.
Michelle Trachtenberg - known for her roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Georgina in Gossip Girls - has passed away at the young age of 39.
Trachtenberg's mother found her unconscious in her New York apartment this morning. EMS workers pronounced her dead shortly after this, and there was no indication that her death could be deemed suspicious. Trachtenberg had recently undergone a liver transplant.
Fans of the actress had grown concerned by her looks in recent Instagram posts, as she'd thinned up quite a bit over the past few months.
Of course, there will be rumors of this and that, but we'll know more about her death in the coming weeks.
