An 18-year-old South Carolina man spends his free time dressed in a Spider-Man costume, picking up litter, meeting fans, and listening to his police scanner to see if anyone needs help.
WYFF reports that his innocuous good deeds as the friendly downtown Spider-Man picked up a notch when he saw two women stuck by a waterfall at the appropriately named Falls Park. 👇
‘I saw one of them almost slip and fall, and I was like, all right, this is time to go. And I booked it over there and I jumped over some rocks to get over there. And thankfully there was an indent to where I could put my feet like this and prop myself up. And then they grabbed my wrist, and I pulled them up,' he said.
After a recent Lululemon robbery and reports of fights downtown at night, he's also started making patrols after dark.
Here's hoping the guy has a local Batman watching out out for him so he doesn't get seriously hurt.
