This is a reminder to you that our leaders can stop the rioting whenever and wherever they want to.

If they want to, that is.

The rioting started with goons advancing on the Israeli consulate with fun items like lighter fluid.

It then spread out, forcing police to swiftly encircle and arrest the rioters.

Here is a timeline of events from 6ABC:

After several speeches, protesters burned at least two flags, one of which was an American flag and another was an American flag with the star of David.

The group then moved into the street and began to walk.

At several points, protesters confronted police and pushed through CPD lines, marching around the immediate area.

Protesters were also seen hitting police with wooden placards.

Hundreds of Chicago police officers have surrounded the group in an effort to get the protesters to disperse, at times forcing them onto the sidewalk.

The protest is not permitted by the city.

A group called Behind Enemy Lines is apparently behind the mass demonstration, but is not affiliated with another anti-Israel group that marched on the DNC on Monday night.

As NBC said, "it's only Night 2."
