A year ago, Mark Wahlberg did something in February that had NBC baffled.

The actor said he was going to take 40 days before this little-known holiday called "Easter" and abstain from food and other activities in order to humble himself and be more consciously aware of an unknown entity he calls "God."

A full year later, it seems the Mark Wahlberg challenge is catching on!
