Harris campaign apologizes after kicking Muslim man out of Michigan event

Check this out: The Harris campaign kicked a Muslim man out of a Michigan event for no apparent reason.

That's former Democratic candidate Dr. Ahmed Ghanim, and he was given no explanation as to why he got kicked out.

I was actually sitting answering some emails on my phone. I was not even engaged in any conversation with anyone. Someone, a lady, came to me and said, β€˜Can you follow me please.' And when we went to the door I found two police officers waiting for me there and threatening me if I don't leave they will put me in the back of the police car.

I realize the daughter of Dick Cheney was co-hosting this event with Kamala Harris, but they still shouldn't have kicked this Muslim man out. πŸ˜†

The man was invited to the event via email:

But he apparently wasn't welcomed by the Harris campaign, and was kicked out before the VP even took the stage.

On Tuesday, officials from the Council on American-Islamic Relations held a press conference to address the issue.

β€˜Today we call for an investigation and we call for an apology to Dr. Ahmed Ghanim,' said Basim Elkarra, who works as the director for an out-of-state chapter of CAIR.

The best part is this apology from the Harris campaign:

So much for that whole "inclusion" thing, huh lefties?
