This reads like a satirical Babylon Bee article — I know — but it's not. Oh, it's very real.

Remember this story from 2024?

Well, the honesty professor has been officially canned for dishonesty while conducting studies on dishonesty.

After a lengthy internal investigation sparked by the Data Colada blog, Francesca Gino, a tenured professor, was stripped of her position after they discovered she falsely manipulated data on multiple studies — 4 to be exact — having to do with dishonesty.

Naturally, Gino is fighting back with a $25 million lawsuit, claiming defamation and "gender discrimination" (LOL to that).

So now we have an ethics expert embroiled in a legal battle over whether she cooked the academic books — you really can't make this stuff up.
